Boston and the greater New England area are home to hundreds of AmeriCorps service members and host organizations. HI-ENEC hostels in Boston, Cape Cod, Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard are their natural home away from home.

With affordable overnight accommodations, welcoming common areas, large kitchens, friendly staffs and picturesque locations, our hostels are the perfect place for AmeriCorps group retreats, trainings and getaways.

Each year we take our 25-30 members on a fall retreat. A few years ago we reached a point where we were really struggling to find accommodations that were reasonable, of high quality and appropriate for large groups. In 2004 we took our group to the hostel on Martha's Vineyard, and last year we ventured to the Nantucket Hostel. They fit our program wonderfully, and both our staff and members were incredibly impressed with the hostel accommodations, locations, as well as customer service. I would highly suggest using these hostels for AmeriCorps retreats. The price is right, the experience is invaluable and the only tough decision you will face is choosing which location is best!
