This hostel is accessible by bus, car and bike.

From Boston:
(Approx. 1.5 hrs) Take Rt 3 South to the Sagamore Bridge. After crossing the Bridge, this becomes Rt 6. Take Rt 6 past exit 12 (just 45 minutes from the bridge). The highway ends at the Orleans Rotary. Go 3/4 of the way around the rotary (roundabout) and get off at Rock Harbor turning left as you get off the exit. Follow Rock Harbor Rd for 1/4 mile and make your first right onto Bridge Rd. Go 1/4 mile further and make your first right onto tiny Goody Hallet Drive. The hostel is on the left. map

Bus:
For bus service, take the Plymouth and Brockton Bus from South Station in Boston and get off in ORLEANS, not Eastham.

The new Flex Bus runs from Harwich to Provincetown.

Bicycle Directions to Midcape from the Bike Trail:

Directions from the south (Hyannis):
Follow the Cape Cod Rail Trail into Orleans, MA. In the center of Orleans, the bike path crosses Main Street beside the Orleans Cycle bike shop. After crossing Main Street, continue following the rail trail as it heads up and over Route 6 (very busy road) on an overpass. Immediately after the path crosses Route 6, there is an informational bulletin board and a paved path on the left side of the bike trail. Turn left onto the path, following it downhill to Rock Harbor Road. Turn right on Rock Harbor Road. Turn right on Bridge Road. Turn right on Goody Hallet Drive. The hostel is #75 Goody Hallet Drive.

Directions from the north (Provincetown/Truro):
Follow the Cape Cod Rail Trail south through Eastham. The rail trail crosses Samoset Road, then Bridge Road, then Governor Prence Road. Approximately a mile after the path crosses Governor Prence Road, there is an informational bulletin board and a paved path on the right side of the bike trail. Turn right onto the path, following it downhill to Rock Harbor Road. Turn right on Rock Harbor Road. Turn right on Bridge Road. Turn right on Goody Hallet Drive. The hostel is #75 Goody Hallet Drive.
