A Lighthouse Challenge is an event hosted by the Martha's Vineyard Chamber of Commerce in which lighthouse enthusiast from all over the country are challenged to visit all of the lighthouses in a geographical area with in a specified period of time.

Chilmark 5K Road Race: August 9, 2008
Chilmark
Since 1976, the Chilmark Road Race has been run along beautiful but oh-so-hilly Middle Road. Proceeds from the race are donated to the Town Affairs Council to assist in the operations of the Chilmark Community Center.
