Scenic beaches, biking trails, art galleries and a variety of preservation lands are among the island's many attractions. Favorite destinations include the Aquinnah Clay Cliffs, Chappaquiddick Island, the Menemsha Fishing Village and the Oak Bluffs' "Ginger Bread" cottages.

Hostelling International - Martha's Vineyard is centrally located on the island near the town of West Tisbury. Constructed in 1955, this traditional cedar-shake saltbox homestead was the first purpose-built youth hostel in the United States. The hostel is situated at the edge of a state forest and along a bike path.

 We are now accepting reservations for the 2008 season!
For the best rates, please call the hostels during their office hours. Reservations are also accepted by email, but must be confirmed by the hostel.
