Charlestown High School is comprised of grades 9–12 with a population of about 1,200 students. The school is broken down into 5 small learning communities. Cultural Kitchen worked with 7 freshman and sophomores from unit B.

The students cooked food from the following countries:

Spain, Israel, Mexico, Lithuania, Barbados, Dominican Republic, United States, and the Philippines
