Montessori Middle School at Braintree follows the Montessori teaching philosophy and mixes all students 6–8 in one classroom. Experiential learning is highly valued in the Montessori system making Cultural Kitchen a perfect fit as an after school activity. The school is in its second year of operation and shares a building and other facilities with the K–5 Montessori Meeting House School.

Cultural Kitchen worked with the entire class of seven students to prepare foods from:

Portugal, Ireland, Chile, Isle of Man, France, Lithuania, Israel, Spain, and The Philippines.
